Collection: Concrete & Masonry Screws
Concrete screws, also known as masonry screws, are engineered to provide strong, reliable fastening into hard base materials such as concrete, brick, and block. Unlike traditional anchors, these screws bite directly into the masonry, reducing preparation time and labor while offering excellent holding power. They are commonly used for mounting electrical boxes, furring strips, conduit, structural fixtures, signage, lighting, and HVAC systems.
Installation
- Drill a pilot hole: Use a hammer drill with a carbide-tipped bit. Hole size and depth should match manufacturer specifications.
- Clean the hole: Remove dust using compressed air, hoover or a nylon brush to ensure proper screw engagement.
-
Drive the screw: Use an impact driver or drill driver to seat the screw flush. Avoid over-torquing to prevent thread or base material damage.
