Collection: 2nd Fix Collated Nails

While 1st fix nails are often used for external jobs such as installing decking, lighter 2nd fix nails are primarily used for internal jobs where a professional finish is paramount.

For home use, this applies to skirting, which, even after painting, may still show the head of the nail, as well as other fine work in architraves, interior trim and mouldings, and door frames. While 2nd fix nails are not used to support large structures such as doors, they are suitable for attaching final trim on doorways to add a more ornate touch.

They are also used extensively in making cabinets and joinery jobs for wood-to-wood adhesion and to hold trim in position. Again, they are not used for load-bearing applications, but for any internal work where a clean, unblemished and professional final finish, they are the right tool for the job.
