Collection: Ridge Tiles

Ridge tiles help to protect the ridge of a pitched roof. This is where the two sloping sides meet at the top, creating a horizonal line. The ridge of a roof can be prone to water inception during extreme rain and winds, so it is important to keep it well maintained and protected, which is where ridge tiles are needed.

Ridge tiles have either a curved or apex design, (often called round, half-round, angled, or crested), mimicking the roof’s structure and creating a ‘cover’ for the ridge. They also prevent tiles on the top row from lifting and creating gaps that would otherwise let in air and moisture, leading to mould and rot. Ridge tiles are available in a variety of different materials to match the rest of your roof, including concrete and clay.
